1. Definitions

  • Company: Refers to the furniture transport company providing the services.
  • Customer: Refers to the individual or entity hiring the Company for transport services.
  • Goods: Refers to the furniture and other items being transported.
  • Contract: The agreement between the Company and the Customer, including these terms and conditions.

2. Scope of Services

2.1 The Company agrees to transport the Goods from the origin address to the destination address as specified in the Contract.

2.2 The Company may provide additional services, such as packing, and unpacking, if agreed upon in writing.

3. Quotations and Estimates

3.1 All quotations are based on the information provided by the Client. Additional charges may apply if the actual volume or nature of the Goods differs from the initial description.

3.2 Quotations are valid for a specified period.

4. Booking and Payment

4.1 A booking is confirmed upon receipt of a signed Contract and any required deposit.

4.2 Payment terms will be specified in the Contract. Full payment is typically due before the transport service commences unless otherwise agreed upon.

4.3 The Company reserves the right to charge interest on overdue payments.

5. Cancellation and Rescheduling

5.1 If the Customer cancels the booking, cancellation fees may apply as specified in the Contract.

5.2 The Customer may reschedule the service date subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

6. Customer Responsibilities

6.1 The Customer is responsible for providing accurate information about the Goods, including weight, dimensions, and any special handling requirements.

6.2 The Customer must ensure that the Goods are ready for transport at the agreed time and that the access routes are clear and safe.

6.3 The Customer must arrange for adequate parking facilities for the Company’s vehicles at both the pickup and delivery locations.

7. Company Responsibilities

7.1 The Company will use reasonable care in handling and transporting the Goods.

7.2 The Company will attempt to adhere to the agreed schedule but is not liable for delays due to factors beyond its control, such as traffic conditions or weather.

7.3 The Company may subcontract part or all of the services to third parties but remains responsible for the overall performance of the Contract.
